Holocaust Survivor, Eddie Jaku's Profound Words
The self-proclaimed 'happiest man alive', my dear friend Eddie Jaku recently turned 100! I have introduced him to literally thousands of people and each time, I felt like the most inspired person in the room. He stared death in the face throughout WWII, and because he survived, he made a vow to himself to smile every day. Pause for a moment to listen to the depth in his voice as he inspires us all to be blessed with "Lots of love to share, lots of health to spare and lots of wonderful friends that care."
Amazing what PMs Bibi and Turnbull told school children
It was one of those rare moments Two leaders of the free world visit two thousand potential leaders of the next generation. The magic was not in the eyes of the Prime Ministers, but the eyes of the children who hung on their every word. When Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull told them to be proud of their Jewish faith, they were proud. When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told them to be proud Jews, they were prouder still. And when 6 year olds giggled with their leaders labelling body parts in Hebrew, 10 year olds played Yerushalayim shel zahav, 14 year olds waved flags and extended their hands with pure joy and 18 year olds sung the anthems with absolute passion, we felt pride. Proud to be Australian, proud to stand with Israel and proud to continue the story of our miraculous people!

Organ donation in Judaism is a topic that is often written off in broad strokes leading to incorrect assumptions defining how people feel about this important topic. Launch of Shalom Corps.
It was an honor and a privilege to announce the launch of ‘Shalom Corps’ at the closing plenary of the Jewish Agency for Israel’s annual Board of Governors meeting in Jerusalem with יצחק (בוז'י) הרצוג - Isaac Herzog, Chairman of the The Jewish Agency for Israel AU. Arutz20 interview- discussing antisemitism today
Schoolyards in New York, graveyards in France and the pavilion at Bondi Beach have all become fronts for swastikas in the last few weeks - has the world not learned its lesson? I sat down with Arutz20 to try make a bit of sense of the new wave of blatant antisemitism that is popping up around the globe
Rabbi Benji at the Olami Global Summit in Toledo
Before Shavuot, I had the great opportunity to address the Olami Global Summit in Toledo, Spain where 1,000 leaders gathered from over 20 countries to inspire and be inspired. At the plenary I couldn’t help but share one of the most powerful stories I have ever heard about incredible violinist Itzhak Perlman and his important calling: ‘life is the music we make with what remains.’
